On the 30th of December 2021, we made history together by organizing SMA 4.0 at the AYV Digital Studio in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

This hybrid virtual event was attended in-person by the nominees, Jurors and the Management of the SMA and broadcast live on the AYV Television and AfrinityTv YouTube channel.

The CEO of Afrinity Productions and the team wish to express their sincere gratitude to those who supported SMA 4.0 in partnership with AYV Media Empire, those who submitted Films, the nominees, the National SMA team, the Sierra Leone Film Guild and the entire Film Family in Sierra Leone.

Our Special thanks goes to Her Excellency Madam Fatima Bio, Hon. Dr. Memunatu Pratt, Minister of Tourism and Madam Patience Ozokwo.

We are indebted and grateful for the conducive atmosphere created by H.E The President Dr. Julius Maada Bio and the government of Sierra Leone for organizations such as ours to thrive and operate without hindrance.

We also want to thank the President of the Film Producers Association of The Gambia.

We look forward to building on the momentum and success of SMA 4.0, leveraging the connections built over this period while learning from the challenges. We are proud to have contributed to the growth of the Sierra Leone Film Industry and we hope that this event will help to put a spotlight on the incredible tourism industry of Sierra Leone.

In the coming weeks we will be making available content suitable for promoting Sierra Leone’s film and tourism industries.

We are proud of the film makers that submitted their films, winners and the nominees and we wish them all the success in their future endeavours.
