High Commissioner Mohamadou Musa Njie (Papanjie) presented his credentials to President Buhari
Thursday March 25, 2021: High Commissioner Mohamadou Musa Njie (papanjie) presented his credentials to President Buhari. He was also given the floor to do the vote of thanks on behalf of all the other six Ambassadors who also presented their Letters of Credence Today. Below is the speech,
“Your Excellency, Mr. Muhammadu Buhari, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Hon. Minister, Colleague High Commissioners and Ambassadors.
It is with a sense of pride, singular honor, and privilege, that I accept the pleasant task of delivering the vote of thanks on behalf of all my distinguished Colleagues, who have just presented their Credentials to His Excellency President Buhari.
Let me begin by expressing our most profound gratitude to Your Excellency, Mr. President, for affording us this unique opportunity to present our Letters of Credence to your good self.
As each of us embark on our tour of duty, we would like to reassure Your Excellency that we will spare no effort to contribute our modest but sincere contribution to the strengthening of the excellent relations of fraternity and solidarity that have always existed between the Federal Republic of Nigeria and our respective countries.
I have no doubt, Your Excellency, that for the duration of our tour of duty in your beautiful and great country, we may always count on your kind support, and indeed that of your Government, in carrying out our assignments for the fruitful and mutual benefit of all our countries. I thank you, Your Excellency.”
