During the general meeting of the Sierra Leone People’s party in the United States, amongst many other accolades that were accorded to First Lady, Dr. Fatima Maada Bio, was the presentation of a Life Time Achievement Award by the SLPP North America Branch(N.A), for her exceptional contribution towards the protection and empowerment of women and girls in Sierra Leone, for being a global change maker and for being a sound voice for the voiceless girls through the Hands Off Our Girls Campaign which has been internationally recognized.

Madam Fatima received the award and handed it over to His Excellency President Julius Maada Bio, who she said was the real owner of the award, as he gave her the platform to add to Nation building and because of his passion for women and Girls issues in Sierra Leone.

SLPP North America Young Generation Leader presented her with a latest PALM magazine which featured her and the work she does in celebration of her continued work in Sierra Leone.
